Private locally opened and operated civil construction company is seeking hard-working and presentable professional, able to undertake a variety of office support tasks and work diligently under pressure. This person will be comfortable working with a high degree of attention to detail and interfacing with outside vendors/customers as well as fellow employees.

Hours: Full time, M-F, 8:00 am – 5:00 pm with 1 hour for lunch

Compensation: DOE + benefits (Health Insurance, 401K, PTO)

Reports To: Controller

Required Qulifications:

- Highschool diploma of GED

- 3-5 years payroll processing

- 3-5 years working in Accounts Payable & Receivable

- Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite

- Proficient with Sage 100

- Must be willing to submit to pre-employment drug test and participate in company drug testing program.

- Ability to communicate in a professional manner via phone and/or email

- Valid driver’s license and personal vehicle


Preferred Qualifications:

- Prior experience with construction accounting and administration procedures

- Prior experience with HH2

- Associates or Bachelors’ degree in Accounting or Business Management or related field.


Responsibilities – The ideal candidate will have the proper time management skills to ensure all responsibilities are completed in a timely fashion with minimal supervision.

- New hire paperwork and creation/management of employee history and files

- Process weekly payroll

- Certified payroll

- Submitting/managing payroll taxes

- Assisting with Accounts Payable & Receivable

- Mail sorting and distribution

- Answer mainline phone and direct calls

- Greet and direct visitors

- Manage drug testing program

- Filing as need

- Monitor office inventory and reorder when necessary

- Other duties as assigned
